“The creation of Humanexus was motivated not just by my incessant loneliness, and the immense difficulty that I encountered in my attempt to ‘find my people’ and cultivate my most natural community, but also by the broader societal awareness of humanity being overly divided, and the connected sense that most of the traditional means by which that divide is meant to be bridged are inadequate. Not the common social scenes nor most social media apps build solid bridges between people, because building bridges requires revealing a true understanding of how we best cross over to one another. Without that level of understanding the divide can feel like an un-crossable chasm, at least at first, and especially to those who struggle to socially connect, regardless of how many people we have the opportunity to meet online or in person. Thus does the disconnection persist. And the only way to create the chasm-crossing connective bridge is through the asking and answering of the most revelatory questions. From these motivations and insights was Humanexus born, dictated by a social progressive to Open AI.”
